Overview: We are currently seeking Substitute Teachers to join our team. As a Substitute Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing quality education and support to students in the absence of their regular classroom teacher. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young learners. Duties: - Follow lesson plans and instructions provided by the absent teacher - Maintain a safe and positive classroom environment - Engage students in educational activities and promote active learning - Provide assistance and support to students with special needs or learning challenges - Implement classroom management strategies to ensure student behavior is conducive to learning - Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that promotes respect and collaboration - Assess student progress and provide feedback as necessary - Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to ensure continuity of instruction Qualifications: - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Experience working with children or students in a childcare or classroom setting - Knowledge of special education practices and strategies is an asset - Familiarity with literacy education and math concepts at various grade levels - Understanding of child development principles and age-appropriate teaching methods - Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments and instructional styles - Patience, flexibility, and the ability to work well with diverse groups of students - Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum is preferred but not required Please note that all positions at our organization are paid, including substitute teaching positions.

Pay: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour
